A few Sundays ago, Heather and Valerie attended the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Greater Chicagoland's annual picnic with Heather's Declan and Valerie's Dallas. The picnic was quite a success! Heather and Valerie helped to run the merchandise table to raise money for the PWDCGC while the dogs had a wonderful time running around and swimming in the pond with their Portuguese Water Dog friends. A silent auction was run to support Nina's Pantry, a food pantry for pets so that family's are not forced to give up the pets they love during these hard economic times. Dallas and Declan also had the pleasure of meeting some of Dallas' other children and Declan's half-siblings! All around, it was a very successful day for Portuguese Water Dog lovers.
